The Sacred Walk Do you want to create more grounding and stability in your life? To become aware of nature and the messages she shares? See a different perspective, calm fears and find healing? A one hour Sacred Walk in Nature can put you on the path to achieving this and so much more. Everything in nature has its own unique energy, its own frequency. We cannot walk her pathways without recognizing the life and energy within every aspect of her. The benefits we received when walking through nature with an open heart and curious mind are incredible. Ideally try for an hour a week. Early morning and dusk or ideal times. These “in between” moments help us to soften and open our senses plus the wildlife is more active. Try to choose a place with trees, Meadows, and natural water when you can. If you only have access to a public or city park, try for one with earthen trails instead of concrete walkways. If you only have concrete walkways, step off onto the natural ground periodically. Weather and safety permitting, take your shoes and socks off. Feel the heartbeat of nature under your soles, wiggle your toes, let the earth fill you up, connect you and soothe you. Notice the train, the firmness and softness of the ground beneath your feet. Pause periodically breathe deep. What smells are coming into your awareness. Feel how your energy your aura is affected by the air around you. Listen to sounds with intention, the buzz of insects, the church of birds. Stop when something catches your eye, a flash of colour or movement. Take note, observing the colour and the light frequencies as you walk. Feel the air on your skin; the sun, thewind, the rain or even the snow. Touch things as you go; a leaf, the Roughbark of a tree, a blade of grass. If you can stop at the water touch it with your bare feet or run your hands through it. Let it purify and delight your senses. Feel your blood, and the sounds of the water, let them synch up. Let nature balance and heal you. Be open and receptive to her bountiful gifts. As your walk comes to a close, and you were noticing your senses are more alive? Make a mental note of anything that stood out for you; A sound, a scent, colour or symbols. I often see Nordic Runes on my walks and then look them up when I get home. Offer a prayer of gratitude for the blessings nature has shared with you. Know that this time has created a sense of balance grounding and connection that you can carry with you throughout your week.

So much inspiration! Beautiful!
