My Vision
An ancient stone spiral, rocks grown into the Earth, a path worn bare by many respectful feet through out the ages. A woman walks this path, aged her hair white in a long single braid. Wearing a crown of purple and yellow wild flowers. Her bare feet reverently caressing the Earthen path beneath them, each touch a kiss of love and companionship. Her white cotton gown tied at the waist with a green and gold braided belt, the shoulders bare as the gown hugs them with spiraling lace designs. A basket of herbs and flowers is easily carried in the crook of her elbow. At her wrist, beaded bracelets jingle as the crystals and shells move with her stately pace. At her neck a long silver chain holds a chunk of moss agate in a intricate silver wrap. She is mature but not frail, her feet grass stained, her hands strong and showing signs of recently being in the soil of the garden. She wears wisdom like a cloak of respect for all in the natural world. Her joy and the day and the warmth of the sun on her skin a caress that nourishes her soul. She walks to the center and lowers to the ground feeling the embrace of the eternal Mother beneath her, her offering of flowers and love a statement of her truth and freedom. She represents Respect, Firmness, Boundaries, Kindness and Compassion, and she wants to share this with those that are drawn to her ways.
Hello and Welcome, my name is Sherry Gunn, I live in Hixon, B.C. Canada. I have created this group as a place to offer ways that we can all connect to Mother Nature, to Gaia, to the Earth in sacred practice. I want to share with you my journey into the wilderness, in to the gardens and into the depths of my soul. Here we can be vulnerable and walk in Circle together to create a better world for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.
